Infants and Toddlers
The church lounge has benefited from some changes to facilitate care for infants and toddlers during worship. A crib, new rocker, table and chairs, toys, books, and crayons have been placed in the lounge for the benefit of parents with young children. The sanctuary sound system can be adjusted so parents can hear and participate in the worship service. The ushers are able to assist parents with the sound system or provide additional hymnals and bulletins as needed. If toys or the crib are used and need cleaning please place toys in the basket provided and turn over the crib sign to indicate cleaning needed.
A diaper changing station has been purchased and will be installed in a restroom to be designated for family use.
Beginning June 8, 2008, and the second Sunday of each month after, a children's Sunday School program will be held. Children, ages 3-13 attending the 10:00 worship service will be dismissed following the children's sermon to Sunday School. The other Sundays of the month, a children's worship bulletin will be available and children will remain with their parents in worship. The special bulletin will contain the scripture story according to the lectionary, activities page, and coloring page. A ring binder and supplies will be available for each child.
