Pennies for Peace

Children in Sunday school will collect Pennies for Peace to help educate children, especially girls, in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Pennies from the loose collection in church will also go toward this program. Pennies for Peace is part of a worldwide effort sponsored by the Central Asia Institute, founded by Greg Mortensen, author of the book Three Cups of Tea.
